The Boa Constrictor is found from Southern Mexico and throughout Central America and most of South America and some islands such as Trinidad. It prefers warm rainforests, but is also found in semi-arid savannah in parts of its range. Boas give birth to as many as 60 fully formed live young, each measuring 35 – 50 cm at birth. Boas and Pythons are among the most primitive of all snakes and possess the remains of hind limbs. Boas are considered as pests in many parts of their range because they will kill chickens and other livestock. Boas are also killed for their skins, which are turned into leather products such as bags and belts. They are also killed for food or simply because they are snakes. By adopting/part adopting a Boa Constrictor, you will be playing an active role in the support of wildlife and its conservation.
You can adopt a Boa Constrictor completely by paying £100 (choose four shares), or buy up to four adoption shares for just £25 each. What you get by adopting:
