The beautiful and charismatic snow leopard is found throughout the mountains of south central Asia. It has a thick dense coat to help stay warm in its cold habitat and is white, yellowish or smoky grey in colour with darker spots. An adult snow leopard weighs between 35 and 55kg (77-121lb) and will grow to 60cm (24in) in height. The thick fury tail of a snow leopard is used for balance and is up to 1m in length!

The number of snow leopards in parts of its range has decreased due to excessive poaching and is recognised by the International Union for Conservation and Nature (IUCN) as an ‘Endangered’ species.

You can adopt a Snow Leopard completely by paying £800 (choose thirty two shares), or buy up to thirty two adoption shares for just £25 each. What you get by adopting:
